Description
Billet Connection has developed See Through Oil
Assemblies for use with Dry Sump Systems. These
New Filter Assemblies have #16 inlet and outlet
ports. For systems using #16 lines on the
scavenge side between the Dry Sump oil pump and
the oil tank.

These New Fitlers are plumbed so the oil is
first sucked out of the scavenge lines in the
oil pan into the dry sump oil pump. Then flows
out of the oil pump into our New See Through Dry
Sump Filter then out of our filter into the dry
sump oil tank. Filtering the oil this way the
user will see every particle that is taken out
of the oil pan into the dry sump oil pump and
only allows filtered oil to return into the dry
sump tank.

With this system the user can also run a
separate disposable filter on the pressure side
between the dry sump pump and the engine. This
allows filtering all the microscopic and dust
particles out of the system. While still being
able to visually inspect the filtered particles.

When oil is not being pumped through the filter,
the filter assembly can be quickly emptied in
seconds exposing the filter element and all the
particles that were filtered out of the system,
even when filtering non transparent fluids like
engine oil. This can be done in seconds without
draining or leaking any oil, unbolting or
loosening any fasteners or fittings and without
the loss of any oil out of the system.

These Oil Filters are like having an insurance
policy on your Hi-Performance and Racing
Engines. Having the ability to see the particles
filtered out of the oil system, gives the user
the ability to determine if these particles are
from normal wear, or from components that are
excessively wearing in the engine. These Filters
will help detect a problem when it first starts
before the engine tells you or acts like there
is a problem. This will help avoid catastrophic
engine failures.
