Description
For sale is my 1989 Spitzer rear engine dragster, complete- MINUS motor only, with enclosed trailer. I have owned this car for quite some time and had only put about 15 passes on it when the motor let go. Everything else is there- Just bolt in your motor, update your safety stuff and go racing!
The car has all quality parts, and was certified to 7.50 seconds in the quarter mile.It is set up for a 5' 10' 180 lb or less driver.The pedals are adjustable, and it had a big block Ford in it, but Spitzer originally built it for a big block Chevy.
Practically new rear 17x33x15 Hoosier slicks.Mark Williams Fabricated rear end with alum. Center and 4.56 gears. M/W axles as well.Coupled to a powerglide trans. Built by Competition Transmission in Buffalo, N.Y. It has a 1.76 low 1st, with brake, and 8"- 5,500 stall convertor. External B&M trans cooler with thermostat and fan.
Be Cool Radiator with fan, BG 280 gas pump, and remote water pump.Painless wiring, MSD 2 step / 7AL2/3 With conventional Dedenbear delay. Biondio "outlaw" selinoid shifter. Chute never deployed since bought.Wilwood brakes.

Trailer: 1991 Car mate 26' enclosed with small bench, winch, 12& 120v lighting. Tag along style hitch with receiver included.New Brakes and magnets. Rubber good. Has a spare wheel.
