Vitals: Vitals: 2006 Electric Blue Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX - 25,000 miles. ~390whp @ 3000 lbs.
Car is currently setup for NASA TTA/PTA, also very competitive in NASA TTS/ST2, Time Attack or SCCA STO class with a restrictor and probably elsewhere.
Family events and obligations as well as a general lack of funds and time to keep running the car force this sell. So rather than sitting in the garage.... It's for sale! Let my loss be your gain! I really really don't want to part this car out, so please spread the word as it needs to go.
History:
I bought the car new in April of 2006 with the idea of getting into track events. 3 weeks later it was at AMS getting a proper 93oct tune! I attended my first event on 6/10/2006 and I've been hooked ever since. It has had many years of upgrades and 'dialing in' with the help of AMS Performance, Sheppard Racing, Buschur Racing and others including a full cage in 2012. Power windows, power locks and keyless still functional in the car with the cage too!
To date, the car has spent just over 90 days on track. I have a record of all the tracks, dates, changes and laptimes in the car. The car has seen an array of tires, rims, suspensions, alignments, brake pads, rotors, fluids, etc.
The car holds an array of regional track records in NASA TTB and TTA classes. PM/Email (pitchn at gmail dot com) me for details. I do all the maintenance myself and anything complicated has been performed by AMS Performance in Chicago (http://www.amsperformance.com/n_pitch...), Boostin Performance in Chicago or Buschur Racing in Ohio.
Any and all stickers on the car can be removed. The car still gets waxed multiple times a year and looks terrific on track. The front bumper and hood do have several chips from track debris; as you'll find with any car that has been tracked enough. The car makes great safe power, the transmission has been refreshed with a longer 4th gear, the car rotates insanely well with the new AST suspension, Sheppard Racing rear differential and the tuned ACD (Active Center Differential).

Asking $23,000 with the stock rims. Keep in mind I've invested over a $5000 this year in a cage & fire suppression system and $5,000+ in transmission and suspension upgrades in 2011, not to mention all the dyno tuning and time/effort to 'dial-in' the car. Trades; a 'Spec' turnkey racecar or a nicer low mileage street car. |
