Description
This car strarted out as a normal 1976 Cutlass. I built it into an open class figure 8 car, then retired before ever racing it. (bumper scratches are from pushing it around with a skid loaded many times) It is fully caged. Nearly all sheet metal on the car is replaced or covered with thicker steel. It is welded solid and should be nearly indestructable. It is actually LIGHT for what it is. As it sits without motor, tranny, seat, fuel cell, or battery it weighs 3080 pounds. Fully set up to race it should still weigh in under 4K. Look at the pics and you should get some idea how tough it is. See it in person and you will know. Car also has quick steer 2/1 steering box. I can remove it to lower the cost. This car woudl be great for figure 8, enduro, cruiser, or even outlaw demo with a few mods. It all depends what your rules allow. It currently has a 10 bolt (bell style drive shaft coupler) 3.73 gear rear end. I can swap out for the original rear end, or a 2.73 gear bell style rear end and knock $250 off the price. The hood pictured goes with the car is from another mid 70s Cutllass. The original was used on another car. I also have seats, harness, steering wheel, guages, switches, etc, that can be negotiated for in the deal. $1800 CASH as is, or $1550 with a different rear end.
