1997 GT-1 Camaro/ Trans Am Race Car
Comes with 2 engine & 2 transmissions.
Only selling the 1997 Camaro GT-1/Trans Am racecar because now I'm focused on racing with the kids and have no time to race anymore. I raced the GT-1 car in SCCA, and before that Tom Wallace raced it out of Michigan. Tom Wallace was the first owner and it was brand new when he had it. I do have a current SCCA logbook, but last time it was raced was 3 years ago. It was at the double national at Nelson Ledges. Will sell motors seperatley. Here are the details of the car below:

Features:
~366 engine is in the car built by Phil Harper Motorsports out of Michigan
~ It dynoed out at 682HP 8000 rpms max tq 506 at 6200 rpm (Dyno Sheets available)
~Chassis is a 1997 Sportsfab Camaro. It was new in the 1997 Runoffs driven by Tom Wallace.

Front Suspension:
"A" Arm Type "O" scrub with sway bar. Front Suspension is designed by Matt Borland @ Penske Racing South (Crew Chief #12 Ryan Newman Nextel Cup Dodge).

Rear Suspension:
Three or Four link, your choice, bottom mounted watts link with sway bar.
Aluminum quick change axel housing
Gleson Torsion center section 4:10 Base Ratio

Shocks:
Penske 3 Way Adjustable front and rear

Brakes:
Front: Alcon Calibers 13.000 x 1.250 rotors
Rear: Coleman Calibers 12.000 x 1.250 rotors

Wheels:
BBS custom offset

1. 310 cid 640 HP 700 miles on engine needs freshened up
2. 366 cid 685 HP (In car) 3 National races on motor

Transmission:
Jerico with four usable gears (aprox 600 miles)
Tex Racing also with four useable gears (aprox 200 miles in car)

Oiling Systems:

Engine: Peterson 5 gallon tank with heater and vent tank
Olbers engine out filter
AC Delco engine filter
C&R Racing water to oil cooler

Transmission: Stock Car Prod. 2 stage pump rear axel driven
Canton Racing oil filter return side (cleanable)
B&M 11x11x1 1/2 air to oil cooler (180 degrees racing temps)

Rear Axel: Same pump as transmission second stage
Canton Racing Oil Filter return side (cleanable)
B&M 11x11x1 1/2 air to oil cooler ( 180 degree racing temps)

Fuel system:
32 gallon fuel safe cell
250 GPM mallory main pump with return
2 Bosch intake feaders with 1 gallon sump tank system will draw to 1/2 inch of fuel in tank!

Clutch:
Quarter Master 5.5 three disk/ also have a brand new one available
Quarter Master reverse mount bell housing
Quarter Master Hi output starter
