Description
This is a 1962 Dodge Dart 2 door post that we have owned for several years, and has been in the family 25+ years. We had a complete rebuild done to it 6 months before i had to quit driving due to unexpected ilness. The car was built safe and to IHRA rules and all new. The car is all steel except for the fiberglass hood and the bumpers, the hood and scoope are made as one piece, and is made to be used as, bolt on type hood, or a lift off type. The Bumpers are mounted with the original brackets that were lightened. It also has all the original trim- chrome- bezels, lenses- grille and emblems that are good shape, and the head lights and tail lights work. The door windows and rear quater windows are lexan, And the windshield- rear glass and vent windows are original glass, the car comes with 2 more doors with original glass panels, ect.. The car is setup to be easy to run doesnt get hot between rounds and cools quickly, doent need to have the battery charged at the track, and has a kubota constant output altenator on it mounted at the bottom of the engine. It has Dana 60 rear end with all new suspension and parts with- 4 link bars and joints- strange axles- 513 pro gear- spool- bearings- studs- drive shaft- yokes- ect..It has a complete ne cage front to rear,joints and brackets, The Slicks are Good Year 32 x 14.5 and have 12 passes on them, the Front runners are 28" tall and have 21 passes on them. It has the original dash, with all the original controls, knobs, speaker grille and has original radio delete plate, it also has the original head liner and dome light. It has a removable panel to set the 4 link from inside the car, and also has a control panel mounted behind the turbo action shifter for easy reach. It runs around 6.50 at 105 MPH and has 1.44 -60 foot time, in 1/8th mile. It was repainted inside and out -New aluminum interior-Steel floor pan under driver. New adjustible coil over racing shocks on Front and Rear.The Motor had around 60 passes on it, the block is filled- it was decked, line bored, etc.. and is 451 with milidon oiling system- H beam rods wiesco pistons all roller top end Teak G Intake -1050 Dominator and several more new parts and also has 4 inch exhaust with racing mufflers. Transmisson has all Turbo Action and Coan Parts with shields.
