The car has a Hendrick roller bearing engine. There is a certificate that verifies the Hendrick Motorsports’ engine block (identified as JRH-290) was actually used in a Busch Series races car driven by Ricky Hendrick during 2002 season. This engine was built at Hendrick Motorsports to race specifications using many of the actual Hendrick Motorsports’ parts. There is even a build sheet on the engine with the Comp Cam specs as well.
The car #2449 Beetlejuice was last raced at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2002 where Jeff won that race. This Hendrick Motorsports’ 2002 Chevrolet Dupont Monte Carlo has been fully restored. The #24 body was then professionally mounted to templates on the chassis (identified as # 2527 Speedy Gonzales.

The rear end is off the #25 team #2514 is a road coarse rear end. The seat is a Jimmy Johnson seat #4838 and has the head rest along with seat, head rest covers, leg supports, and heat pad under drivers’ seat. Tires and wheels are from the 24 team as well. The windshield still has the tear-offs from the last race. This car comes with letters of authenticity
It is complete and turn key! It runs great with the engine having no track time and about an hour of total run time. The car has been set up to run road course racing. The body is in great condition for a Bristol race car! The car has always been in garage kept under a cover.
