Description
This is a drag race car built by the owners. It has a custom fiberglass body shell over a mild steel tube chassis with Mustang II front suspension + steering. The front shocks are Koni single adjustable units with AVO shocks in the rear on the fully braced 9� Ford rear axle. The rear axle is equipped with 430 rear gears + spool with Summers Bros. 35 spline axles. Weld Rodlite wheels + Wilwood brakes complete the chassis.

The rear suspension is 4 link with an anti roll bar and diagonal link.The frame is 2�x3� main rails with all other tubing being .120� D.O.M. steel. The engine is a small block Chevy displacing 409cu.in. The stock Chevy block is equipped with a Cola crankshaft (internally balanced) with Collies rods (6�) and custom made Ross pistons which are matched to the Brodis 10X heads which have been professionally ported.

The heads are fitted with 2.125� intake valves + Jesel shaft rocker arms. The Brodix intake manifold has been ported to run methanol through Rons Terminator(1150CFM) There is also a �DUEL FUEL� gas warm up system installed. The valves are actuated by a .624 life Herbert roller cam + Comp cams roller lifters. Also included on the engine are Jet Hot coated 2� headers,Stefs aluminum oil pan,Meziere water pump + Shogun racing alternator. The ignition is MSD 7AL-2 and distributor.

The tranny is a Turbo 350 with ATI transbrake/valve body and 8� torque convertor. The shield is a one piece trans+flexplate unit. A Hurst shifter + Autometer Ultimate II playback tach round out the interior. This car is very consistent, hooks hard and goes straight.
