Description
540 Cubic inch Ford engine.
Designed and built for severe duty applications.
The foundation is a 460 Sportsman block and Dove A heads.
Poked and stroked to 540 inches, Edelebrock Performer 460 intake manifold and 750 CFM Edelebrock carb. The high flow cooling system has a dual thermostat housing supporting twice the coolant flow as a single, and high volume water pump. A large 9-blade fan and oversize radiator keep it cool while working full blast. The oil system has an 8 qt. pan and is setup for a large oil cooler, hoses and fittings included. Develops over 630 ft. lbs. of torque @ 3,250 RPM, 550+ @ 4,500, and 495 ft. lbs. @ 5,000 RPM. This thing is a real stump puller! $7,000. |
