85,000 miles on chassis
Build completed in June of 2007
All parts were purchased new and added to a fresh block, lots of custom work throughout car.
1979 460, stock bottom end w/ KB silvolite pistons +.030.
Edelbrock Perf RPM camshaft and intake
Stock heads w/ Harland Sharp roller rockers and Comp springs, locs and retainers
Hooker super comp swap headers
Mighty Demon Comp edition 850cfm carb w/ annular boosters
Complete MSD ignition, Pro billet distributor, 6al, and blaster II coil
Fuel Sytem is all alum hard line 1/2" w/ steel braided at each end 8AN, Holley blue pump, Summit fuel filter, holley regulator w/ 6AN to carb
TCI Streetfighter C6 transmission, w/ Streetfighter 10" 3800 stall converter
Ford Motorsports alum radiator w/ Flow Kooler pump setup w/ serpantine drive powering the water pump and a Stock mustang altenator
8.8 rear diff fully welded w/ 4.10 gear and c-clip elims, long studs, open lug nuts
Wheels are Weld draglites 15x9 rear and 15x3.5 front w/ MT ET Drag slick / 26x8.5, has long studs and open lug nuts
8pt custom roll bar, tied into subframe connectors w/ driver and pass 5pt harness
Autometer gauge package
Hurst quarter stick shifter
Line loc, and adjustable front to rear prop valve
Boxed upper arms with poly bushing, and SSM lower arms fully welded
Lakewood 70/30 struts front and 50/50 shocks rear w/ 4cyl mustang springs
I am sure there is more but that is the basics. The car runs hard outta the hole and drives straight.
Runs 11.8 @ 112mph without pushing it hard
