Description
1948 Fiberglass Body Fiat Altered Dragster
Price: $20,000.00 - (Payable in Certified Check only).
Custom, hand built chassis. -- This is my late husband's car.
The Fiat is a turn key car, ready to roll. It has a Power Glide transmission. Holley Strip Dominator Manifold - Single Holley Carburetor. To the best of my knowledge the Motor is: 340 Mopar/Dodge (could be bored bigger). Has W-2 Heads.
Strange Engineering Front Disc Brakes, Harwood Fuel Tank - Foam liner, Aluminum Transmission Cooler, 108" Wheelbase, Midodon Oil Pan (Gold Anodized), Aluminum Motorplate (Gold Anodized), Trans Blanket, All Aluminum interior, ARC Accessory Panel includes buttons for: Starter, Ignition, Fuel Pump, Cooling & Lamps.
Mallory Distributor, Red Anodized Moroso Valve Covers, Racetech Ladder Bars, Hurst Quarter Stick/Shifter, Custom Designed Hand Brake System, Parachute with hand release, Chrysler Rearend, Racetech Red Anodized Wheelie Bars with custom center/cross brace, Goodyear Eagle Tires/Slicks (Size: 32 X 15), (4) Center Line Wheels, Master Disconnect Switch in rear (under body), Holley Strip Dominator, Electric Water Pump, Aluminum Radiator, Holley Comp Fuel Filter (Series: 140/PN 3140), 4-Wheel Disc Brakes, Coil Over Shocks, Chrome Headers, Time Delay Box (Model RTD-7, Dedenbear), MSD Shift Light (PN 8952) with 8,000 RPM chip installed, Autometer Tach, Autometer Water Temp Guage, Autometer Oil Pressure Guage, Chrome Front Axle and Steering Linkage, 4 Bars Front Suspension (Chrome), Steel Braided Hoses throughout - Fuel, Oil & Brake lines (Aero Quip & Russel - "R" stamped fittings), Flywheel Scatter Shield, Mallory Coil, Mallory Series 140 Fuel Pump & Filter, Electric Fan on Radiator, Power Master Starter, Custom Designed Adjustable Aluminum Wing, Extra/Spare Aluminum Motor Plate (Gold Anodized), Paint: Candy Apple or Candy Brandywine. The car now has a Mr. Gasket scoop on it rather than the 2 stacks. I can send you a photo of the car with the scoop if you contact me at [email protected].
Car was built for the drag strip, but after being prompted by several speedshops was entered into several car shows for a short while then went back to racing. Car won Best Competition Car, Outstanding Competition, and Outstanding Comp Interior. Buyer would need to pick car up or make all arrangements to have it transported. This time of year here in Florida there are some transport companies that are bringing the "snowbird" vehicles down for the winter and may have good rates to transport a vehicle back up north rather than go back with an empty trailer |
