Description
The engine for sale is a brand new LS1 crate engine that has been professionally built. I originally intended to put this beast into a project racecar I was planning to build, but I have recently determined that I cannot afford this project. The engine specs are as follows:
- Darton Modular Integrated Deck
- Eagle forged crankshaft with a 4.000� stroke
- 6.125� Eagle connecting rods
- Ross pistons, with a 4.125� bore
- Engine displacement of 427 ci
- 11:1 compression ratio (stock)
- total seal piston rings
- HRD CNC ported cylinder heads
- FAST Wilson intake manifold
- Stock rocker arms, valvesprings, pushrods
- Hydraulic roller camshaft
- Estimated 500+ HP @ 6,800 rpm
- Head Casting # 243
- Block Casting # 12561168
As for auxiliary components, what you see in the pictures is what you get (no exhaust manifolds, ECU, wiring harness, throttle body etc�). The engine was built by a notoriously talented local engine builder who specializes in domestic large displacement engines. This engine is perfect for a street/strip/hotrod 1998 and later Camaro, Firebird, Trans Am, 1997-2004 Corvette, or any custom hot rod wanting some serious fuel injected power.
