The car is a 1972 Chevrolet Nova drag car. The body contains a fiberglass hood, front fenders and bumpers. The car is a complete back half car with 4 link and coil overs, wilwood front disk brakes, line lock, and 12 point roll cage. There is an 8 gallon fuel cell in the trunk along with 2 gel cell batteries. The front suspension consists of moroso front coil springs and 90/10 competition shocks. The engine is a 406 cubic inch small block that has put a numerous of big blocks to shame. It contains Brodix aluminum heads ported by Dean Turk. 2.08 IN 1.65 EX valves, Crane Gold Roller Rockers @ 1.65 ratio with Top of the line Crane stud girdles. A Holley High rise intake, 1050 CFM Holley dominator, and an MSD 6A ignition and distributor. An ATI fluid dampner, MCI electric water pump, 13:1 Ross forged pistons. The Cam is a solid Cam made by Schnider with .550 lift @ 1.5 ratio Rockers. The motor is complete with a new aluminum radiator and dual flex lite fans which have never seen over 210 degrees in water temp. It has Headman big tube headers with a 2 speed powerglide transmission. The car is very consistent in the quarter mile. It will run a 10.5 @ 130 MPH on the trans brake with no bottle all day long. The interior is fully tubbed and powder coated with all the good gauges, and tach with shift light. This car will lift the front tires off the ground, and run straight as an arrow every time. |
