Description
This car was built to race but with the idea that some day she could go back to the streets It has a 2x3 frame from the firewall back, Stock X frame is gone. Front suspension is all stock. It has a 10 point custom cage. Rear end is ford 9 in with Chassis works ladder bars. Rear gear is currently 4.88 but I feel the car could use less. It has a "N" case with Strange spool & aluminum pinion support. Dutchman 31 spline axles. The wheels & tires are brand new Monocoques & goodyears. Fronts are 15x4 & rears are 15x12s. The engine is set back 4.5in & down 3.5in so you can run a flat hood if you like, but the preped hood is cut for scoop. Engine is a full roller 468ci with Brodix heads and intake. (intake is new)Carb is a brand new 1050 cfm Dominator. MSD ingnition. Headers are custom made 2 1/4 w/4in collectors.The engine makes close to 800hp as it is now. And has less than 30 runs on it. The tranny is a T400 with a Hipster brake and is fresh. Shifter is a Cheetah reverse pattern. Aluminum radiator w/ electric fan & water pump. This combo minus the carb & intake has went 10:78 @ 128mph with 60 ft clocks be 1:47. Those times where with a Holley strip dominator intake and a 1150 cfm dom. The car runs hard & straight. She weighs 3450 no driver. I'm the third owner and builder The body was very good when I bought it. As you can see in the attatched photos it is currently ready for paint needing only a seal coat and paint. The jams and all the filler panels are painted. The color is a late model Chevrolet Spectrum Gold. I have new trim for the frt fenders, doors, 1/4 panels, & trunk. I put "348"ci badges in the grill and on the trunk, both new. I have extra sheet metal such as doors hood & fenders 2 sets of bumpers & 3 grilles. I also have a set of custom headers that go with the car that allow the use of stock BB chev heads ( Brodixs exhaust ports are raised 3/4in) This car is fun to own and drive, always draws a crowd. email or call me if you need any questions answered or for more photos.
