Description
FOR SALE: 1968 AMC Javelin SST drag car. MOTOR: 30 over 401 with 50.9 CC ported and polished doglegg heads, Headman hedders, Comp Cams springs and 576 solid lift cam and lifters, Harlan Sharp roller rockers, Edelbrock Torker 2 aluminum intake, 13.5-1 compression Ross Racing pistons, forgded crank and rods, 750 Holley carb. TRANSMISION: TCI 727 transmision with reverse valve body, TCI 4500 stall converter. SUSPENSION: Front is all stock accept for the 90/10 Competition Engineering shocks and shock exstentions. Rear of car has beeen back halfed with a 4 link suspension added. It has rear adjustable coil over shocks. REAR END: Stock Dana AMC 20 rear end, with solid Mosher axles, and Richmond 456 gears with a posi unit. ELECTRONICS: MSD 6AL ignition, Blaster 3 coil, 2 step, line lock, Delay box, ACD air shifter. OTHERS: Roll cage, all steel braided fuel lines, electric fan, electric water pump cycler, Autometer gauges including monster tack-water temperature-oil pressure, racing seat, 5 point race harness, Hurst Quarter Stick shifter, breaker switch panel, polished aluminum 15" rims, slicks are 15X28X10.5, 2 batteries, battery shut off, positive and negative charging posts, fuel cell. This is a very consistent car. Runs 6.90's in the 1/8 mile. This is a newer motor and has not yet been run in the 1/4 mile. If your looking a good race car this is the one for you. This car is turn key and ready to go. This car has won many races and runs the numbers consistently.
