Description
The 55 is gone, but I still have this, 1972 FX Superglide, Black. 1200 shovelhead, frame up rebuild with less than 500 miles includes new rods, bearings, crank pin and 10 over pistons, rebuilt ported heads, original style Harley performance B-grind cam and Dyna electronic ignition, late model Keihin carb with chrome stock type breather.
Paughco slashcut exhaust system. Rebuilt 4 speed transmission, kick and chrome electric starter. Stock frame with molded neck and chrome chopper style wrap around oil tank. New Harley gel type battery and complete wiring harness. All chrome 80 to 83 style dual disc wide glide front end including chrome switch controls with wiring in handlebars, 21 inch wheel, Dunlop tire. Rear wheel has chrome stock drum brake and backing plate, and 16 inch rim 4 inches wide with Dunlop tire and chrome FL style covered shocks. Stock type forward controls have stock foot pegs, chrome cover and chrome master cylinder. Chaincase. outer primary, cam housing, and rockerboxes are polished aluminum.
Engine cases and cylinder heads have restored natural aluminum finish, cylinder jugs are black. Cobra style LePera seat. Tanks are stock and have been filled on the side and down the middle for mild custom look. No trades. $11,800.00
