Description
1955 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, 265ci with the desirable Power Pack option
Original mid-west car, 100% original sheetmetal except for the the lower rear quarters which were replaced using factory GM panels, 62k original miles.
This Bel Air runs, drives and shows excellent with no issues.
Professional frame-off restoration completed approx 4 years ago with only 750 pampered miles since completed. #'s matching Regal Turquoise with Indian Ivory paint which is in excellent condition. All original 265ci drivetrain with the Power Pack option which includes: 4 BBL carb, intake, exhaust manifolds and dual exhaust. All of the drivetrain components are 100% original to the car and have been rebuilt including: block, heads, exhaust manifolds, carb, intake, water pump and generator. The two-speed Power Glide transmission and rear axle housing are all 100% all original to the car. The original shocks were rebuilt, the original bushings are still intact in good condition, all of the wheels and hubcaps are original to the car as is the reconditioned jack in the trunk. All of the stainless is original to the car and has been refurbished. The undercarriage has been detailed and is showing factory correct blended red oxy primer. The original power top frame was rebuilt with new bearings and bushings. The original power top motor was rebuilt and works perfectly. The interior shows in like new condition with everything working perfectly right down to the original AM radio and clock. This Bel Air was ordered with reverse backup lights and power brakes.
This is a great opportunity to own a very original Bel Air with no expenses spared during the professional restoration and would make an excellent addition to any collection.
