Description
I am offering my 1996 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am to a new home. I have spent countless hours researching the finest parts and installers to help build this Trans Am. It has been my passion and joy for over 7 years. Now it is time for it to find a new home. This car is very fast, loud and god awful fun. I built it to go fast, handle like it was on rails, and stop on a dime. Safety was a priority for this build as well. Hence the racing seats, harnesses, Baer brakes and fully functioning air bags. There are 50322.2 miles on this car total since it was new. I have driven about 2000 miles since the suspension and brakes were installed and 540 miles since the engine and transmission rebuild. This car has been garaged as well as never smoked in. The interior is in like new condition, cold AC even. The body is in great shape too with no rust. The nose of the car does have �spidering� cracking from a tow truck incident. I was planning on painting the nose when the aftermarket hood was painted but I thought I would just reduce the price and let the new owner complete the paint since they might want a different color scheme, stripes, or flames. This motor was built for an ATI Procharger supercharger by the choice of components and the compression was lowered. After driving it, this car was quite fast enough for me, so the supercharger was never added. The suspension, brakes, and complete driveline are replaced or heavily upgraded as well including Baer GT+ front and Eradi-Speed +2 rear rakes with SS lines. Kenny Brown cage and full suspension, Moser 12 bolt, McCloud twin disc clutch, Aluminum driveshaft with loop, Sparco race seats with Schroth harnesses. 400 words are not enough to describe the countless high end parts installed on this car so please email me for a complete list.
