Description
1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS – Street legal Dale Earnhardt replica.

Was my wife’s car, turned into my Dale Earnhardt project car, as I wanted to build a street legal NASCAR of my favorite driver.

Features are:

355 4-bolt main small block chevy motor.
Chevy bow tie heads with 207 valves
Edlebrock intake
Holly 850 double pumper carburetor
Chevy diecast aluminum valve covers
Transmission is Turbo 400/ 3200-rpm stahl converter
Has the original Basset Race Rims, strengthened for street use
Tires are Goodyear Eagle GT + 4

This motor was completely rebuilt by Todd Goodwin of Goodwin Performance

Car has complete new paint job, the exterior, motor and transmission has all been completely redone. The interior is all original and in good shape if you want it like new would need to be restored, as this is the only part we have not done anything with. Alpine stereo installed.

All decals are direct from Richard Childress Racing as there was a gentleman from Oshkosh that is on the pit crew and found out what we were doing and supplied them directly to us.

This is truly a one of a kind very fast car. The pictures can hardly do justice.
