I do not know much about this car but i will do the best to describe what i do know. This car was originally a DE Tomaso car either a F1 or FJ built in 1961, possibly a year newer or older. In approximately 1970 it was converted to an Formula A car. It does have some race history and has the SCCA stamping on the roll bar. I do not know the race history prior to 1970. I did have a friend research the FA history and it did show up to be raced in PA. Steel city region back in around 71/72. The car was purchased by a doctor in the early 70's who never took the car off the trailer.The car has not been off the trailer in over 30 years. It has a 69 302 engine block (PROBABLY BORED TO 308) and 186 angle plugs heads with hilborn fuel injection and hewland trans axle. The motor is seized and i have not tried to free it up. The original nose is gone and so is the radiator.The blue nose was with the car and it does appear to be correct because it fits properly to the tub and chassis. I am not sure what happened to the red nose because it does not have any chassis damage. I think they possibly were converting it to a newer design. I can tell you by the looks of the engine and trans no expense was spared. I may be willing to sell the chassis separate from the engine and trans axle.This car is very restorable either back to an original formula or the way it is.
