Description
I bought this Camper on Ebay (3/5/04) with 18,106 miles and reconfigured it into a Mobil Office. It was completely Remodeled as follows: NEW Carpet, Headliner, Seat Covers, Viper Alarm System & Electric Door Locks, AM/FM/CD Remote Control Stereo & (4) Pioneer Boom Speakers, Carrier Roof Top 15K Air Conditioner, New wiring, New Benches, Six (6) new Tires, Four (4) Chrome Wheel Simulators, Brakes, Van Front & Rear A/C Service, Full Exhaust system, Tune-Up Van & On-Board Generator(3KVA Not Working).
I personally used this veichle for buisness purposes on two different projects one in Tampa & the other in Daytona Florida. I have replaced this Van with a new Trail Lite R 28' trailer with Slide/Pop-Out Sides. Therefore this unit must go.
This is the History befor me: This van was bought new in 1984 to serve as a broadcast vehicle for WMAL Radio's shows from the Washington Redskins games at RFK Stadium. Miles are 18,105. With the exception of a few runs on the beltway this is the explanation of the correct mileage on the odometer. WMAL lost the Redskins broadcast rights in 1992 and the truck has sat ever since except for runs to inspections each year and running it once a month and repairing anything that was needed. Truck was maroon to look like a Redskins bumper sticker then was painted yellow in 1999 as part of ABC's larger scheme. Options are as follows:AM-FM Stereo Cassette, Power Converter, Rear Heat and Air Condition, Custom Crown, Running Boards, Rooftop Air and Heating Unit, 3KW Generator w/Hour Meter, 2nd Battery to run accessory lights in rear and switch for same for extra starting power, Outside receptacle, Tilt and Cruise and AC and is automatic. The gauge shown in one of the pictures is the hour meter for the generator. There is plenty of storage space including the two doors that lock on each side of the rear door. Has some broadcasting equipment still in the vehicle which I have no knowledge about. Have most all of the service records. This is one sweet Trans Van.
