Performance specs:
Custom 406 long-rod conversion V8 with a custom Tremec 5 speed transmission, transmission handles up to 450 lbs.ft. torque, 5th gear is a .68 overdrive, fuel economy at 90mph, running on 87 octane gasoline, elevation 3500�, is 20+ mpg. The rear end is a 12 bolt posi-trac with 3.07:1 gears. Engine is built to redline at 6000rpm, but never taken there. 4th gear does 90 at 4000rpm, then shift into 5th gear and the engine rpm drops down to 2500. That�s a 32% gear reduction.
