Description
Car started life as a California rust-free Jaguar s420. Was lovingly taken care of and spent 99% of its life in the sun with the same family. A handful of years ago when its British heart had become too much to maintain a nicely done heart transplant was performed. Heart transplant procedure was done with a healthy 1989 Z28 350, with Turbo 350 trans. Carbureted motor that loves to run. Stock exhaust manifolds makes it quiet but throaty. HEI ignition makes it reliable and gets great performance and mileage. Dual exhaust runs to the back and stock style pipes and tips have been used with turbo mufflers. Engine and engine compartment has been detailed and represents very well. Not stopping there, the interior has been nicely refinished with Connely style leather. All the door wood has been refinished and bolster wood has been refinished and varnished to a high gloss. Interior is stunning and in perfect shape. (2) items in the interior have not been finished presently���1) dash wood has not been revarnished or finished. Dash is very very acceptable and in great shape, But does not have the same gloss as the rest of the interior. 2)Rear package shelf has not been finished yet. The headliner and everything has been, I have tried to schedule a couple of appts with a trim shop, unfortunately, they are appx 2 months backed up. The body was then taken down to the bare metal and had a very extensive and expensive massage done to it. Body panels line up perfectly and are staright ,rust free and perfect. All glass was removed, ALL new rubber trim and moldings have been installed and reinstall glass and a beautiful classic white paint job were done to car. Every piece of chrome was cleaned, waxed and prepared beautifully for this car, car was then finished off with new tires and chrome wire wheels. Gas tanks were removed and cleaned and sealed. All electrical works fine. Car is in need of a stereo system and minor gauge wiring. Needs a new speedo cable etc. car has been driven appx 500-800 miles since restoration and would take anywhere, anytime. This car is remarkable���.
