Description
I found a lot of old negatives of pictures that I took back in the early to mid 1960's. Most of the negatives and slides were in bad shape after over 40 years of poor storage. I used a film scanner and scanned the negatives and slides the best I could. The photos that came out the best and were in decent shape were put on a CD. The CD contains over 1,200 photos, 95% of them have never been printed from the original negatives and the remaining 5% have not been seen for the past 40 years. The CD is menu driven with a listing of races. Clicking on a race will open to a page of thumbnail photos which when clicked will open to a larger photo (approx 6 1/2" x 10") on the screen. Most of the photos have captions describing the drivers. The races covered are from 1963 to 1966 (20 races) and include USAC Sprints, Late Models and Indy Cars from Trenton NJ, Langhorne PA (also dirt) , Reading PA and Allentown PA, ARDC Midgets from Flemington NJ, URC Sprints from Flemington NJ, Harrington DE and Orange County NY (Middletown).
