Earnhadt Jr., Kurt Bush, and Kyle Bush all started in the Legend Series.
This car was produced and sold by 600 Racing. 600 Racing Inc. started this series back in about 1980. The series was developed because of the need for an inexpensive form of racing for the average Joe, a series that would be fun and more competitive than most forms of racing. Thus came INEX; INEX is the officiating body of the Legend Series. This is a spec. racing series designed to create a level playing field on the track. You are not allowed to make the very expensive modifications you see in other series. Modifications are kept to a minimum. All of our tires come from one source, BFGoodrich and all the tires are the same, treaded. Treaded tires last much, much, much longer than slicks. A set of treaded tires can last for almost two seasons. Most series use slicks on there cars and they must change them frequently, therefore racing becomes very expensive.
If you�re familiar with Winston Cup Racing, you know that Earnhart Jr., Kurt Bush, and Kyle Bush all started racing in the Legend Series. This form of racing is a BLAST!!! It is truely amazing that you can spend a moderate amount of money on one of these cars and be on the track the next day racing in front of an audience. It has been one of the biggiest thrills of my like, particulary the first time I went out on the track in front of the fans. You soon forget those fans once your on the track trying to make it to the finish line first.

Bumper jack-makes it easy to move the car around, $500 racing fuel tank, hotlap timer system, tach gauge, oil gauge, 4-5 extra wheels, 4 camber cut tires with about 10 races on them, extra fuel tank, camber gauge, extra parts; ball joints, 3 gears, etc..., and some other items I can�t remember.
